How did Malkmus go? Heard he was in friendly form. Nialler9 is streaming the new Flapes single. Its pretty good shtuff. Addictive.
Malkmus was cool. He knows his shit, musically. Like an encyclopaedia, except one that is aware of early British post-punk, rare psychedelic records and what Pitchfork are covering in equal measures.
Dunno about new Fight Like Apes though. Bit Emily-esque for my tastes.
I'm still a little pissed off. Had I chosen my gig companions better I would have met Thom and Jonny after the gig.
Note to self: In future always stick with the one who has family working or U2.
